In a bowl, mix together butter, sugar, honey, eggs and buttermilk until completely combined.
In another bowl, mix together the remaining dry ingredients.
Pour wet mixture into dry mixture mixing carefully until completely incorporated and batter has no lumps.
Pour batter into a 9 or 8 inch skillet or square pan. Place in the oven and bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cornbread comes out clean.
Let it cool for a few minutes before cutting and serving.
