Throwback to when @misskehinde and I made this cake to get to the next stage of a baking TV show 👩🏾‍🍳

We swirled my vanilla cake recipe with a blueberry and strawberry compote, frosted it with a whipped cream frosting and added a layer of the compote in the middle, then decorated it with fresh berries ☺️ We called it A Very Berry Cake and it was so good! It's too bad we didn't make it on the show lol cus we would have won 😏

Maybe I'll add it to the menu when I'm back to selling baked goods but for now I'm taking a break. #fyi

Just some of the foods that I made this year but didn't fully document ☺️ Listed in order of appearance

- Banana peanut butter chocolate chip muffins from @halfbakedharvest
- Salmon in Lemon cream sauce (recipe on the blog) over mashed Korean sweet potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts
- An attempt at thiebouyapp 😅 it was still good though lol
- Wine braised beef
- Fufucorn and huckleberry
- Shrimp alfredo (recipe using scallops on the blog)
- Green Thai Curry
- Kale salad with roasted chickpeas and avocado
- Tahini Caesar salad with salmon and avocado (both salads inspired by Half Baked Harvest)
- Cream cheese stuffed baked french toast
- Lemon pound cake with a cream cheese swirl (the last two from Half Baked Harvest again, I'm obsessed lol)
