Some tips before you begin:

  • The Dough can be store bought. I got mine from Wegmans but their though is pretty big. So if using their’s I will suggest using about 3/4 of it. (And maybe using the extra dough for a small pizza on the side, garlic knots or something.) If you opt for making your own dough, you can use the recipe I used for my Pesto Pizza or any recipe of your choice.
  • Avoid overcooking the shrimp and salmon. For the shrimp, I seasoned it thoroughly then sautée it for about 2-3 minutes per side. For the salmon, I seasoned it in the same way then cooked it in a pan for about 3 to 4 minutes per side. You can also bake them (shrimp for about 10 mins and salmon for about 12 mins at 350ºF). And you can make them a day or so ahead of time. Either way you want them to be cooked but not to the point of getting rubbery or dry after you’ve baked the pizza.
  • The seafood toppings and amount of cheese you use is up to you. Pizza is one of those foods where it really is based on what you have and what you like. You can add scallops, calamari, crab meat or other seafood to this. You can also add mushrooms, olives, onions or other toppings to your pizza. And you can add more or less cheese to it. It is your pizza, customize it to your liking.

All right, you are ready. Go try my Seafood Pizza with a Pink Sauce now!
